Skyrim - Imperial Flagship Katariah Paper Model - by RocketmanTan

Created by American designer and model maker Bryan Tan, aka RocketmanTan, here is a relatively easy-to-assemble paper model of the Imperial Flagship Katariah, from the universe of Skyrim. 

The entire model takes up eight sheets of paper and there are no instructions, but assembly is not difficult and is actually quite intuitive. 

The Imperial Flagship Katariah is a vessel in the game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It serves as the floating residence of Emperor Titus Mede II. 

The Katariah is found during a Dark Brotherhood mission, where the player needs to board it to assassinate the Emperor. 

The vessel is luxurious and imposing, reflecting the power of the Empire in Skyrim.

Skyrim is an open-world RPG (Rolling Playing Game) style video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and released in 2011. 

It takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim, in a fantasy universe from the series The Elder Scrolls. 

One of Skyrim's striking features is its living and dynamic world. NPCs have daily routines, react to the player's actions and interact with each other. 

Random events occur regularly, making each journey through the game world unique and unpredictable. 

Skyrim's soundtrack, composed by Jeremy Soule, is acclaimed and memorable. 

Epic and atmospheric music significantly contributes to the player's immersion in the game world, creating an unforgettable fantasy atmosphere. 

Skyrim has one of the most active and creative modding communities of all time. 

Mods range from small gameplay changes to full-blown expansions that add new areas, quests, characters, and mechanics. 

These mods significantly extend the lifespan of the game and provide personalized experiences for players.

Criado pelo designer e modelista americano Bryan Tan, aka RocketmanTan, eis aqui um modelo de papel relativamente fácil de montar da Nau Capitânia imperial Katariah, do universo de Skyrim. 

O modelo todo ocupa oito folhas de papel e não hã instruções, mas a montagem não é difícil, sendo bem intuitiva na verdade. 

A Nau Capitânia imperial Katariahé uma embarcação no jogo The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Ele serve como a residência flutuante do Imperador Titus Mede II. 

O Katariah é encontrado durante uma missão da Dark Brotherhood, onde o jogador precisa embarcar nele para assassinar o Imperador.

A embarcação é luxuosa e imponente, refletindo o poder do Império em Skyrim.

Half Life - Black Mesa Monorail Tram 3D Model For Sketchupby Papermau - Download Now!

Attention: the model available for download here is only the 3D version, to be viewed, manipulated and even modified using the Sketchup 3D program. 

I used Sketchup 6, which is a very old version of Sketchup and can be easily found for free on Google on sites like OLD VERSION. 

In the past, when Sketchup was owned by Google, the official website offered a free version of the program with some limitations, but now that Sketchup is owned by Trimble, there is no longer this possibility, so I recommend those who want to test this program to download versions old ones, like version 6 which is the one I use. 

Anyway, here is the 3D model and feel free to download and modify it however you want.

Atenção: o modelo disponível para download aqui é apenas a versão 3D, para ser visualizado, manipulado e até mesmo modificado usando o programa 3D Sketchup. 

Eu usei o Sketchup 6, que é uma versão bem antiga do Sketchup e pode ser encontrada de graça facilmente no Google em sites como o OLD VERSION. 

Antigamente, quando o Sketchup era do Google, no site oficial era oferecido uma versão gratuíta do programa com algumas limitações, mas agora que o Sketchup é do Trimble, não há mais essa possibilidade, então recomendo aqueles que quiserem testar esse programa, que baixem versões antigas, como a versão 6 que é a que eu uso. 

De qualquer forma, o modelo 3D está aí e fiquem a vontade para baixar e modificar do jeito que quiserem.

Half Life - Black Mesa Monorail Tram Paper Model - by Papermau Some Advances

This is getting interesting. A lot of ideas and possibilities with this model. The tram is practically finished. 

I finished the interior textures and added the advertising signs above the windows, the exit signs and the emergency panels. 

I also placed the side lamps and ventilation boxes on the ceiling. Another addition were the yellow supports that serve as support for passengers who may travel standing up. There must be a proper name for them, but I don't really know. 

In the original 1998 Half Life, the tram was lifted by an inverted V-shaped support. This support, in turn, ran through internal pulleys in a single beam, that is, in a monorail system. 

I looked for images on Google, but oddly enough, there are very few images of this tram on the internet. In one of the few images I found, it looks like this version of the tram could also run on an inferior monorail, but the image isn't very clear and I'm not sure about that. 

So I decided to use the system you see in the images in this post, where the tram also runs along a monorail, but the supports seem to use some kind of "magnetic coupling", as appears on the Half Life Black Mesa. 

I don't know if four supports on each side add value or make the model less aesthetically pleasing. 

While playing with the model in Sketchup, ideas came and went in my mind and I created the entire scenario you see. 

I don't want to keep inventing too much, otherwise what will happen is the model will become unviable for papercraft, as has happened with many other models that I ended up abandoning. Well, that's it for now.

Isso está ficando interessante. Um monte de idéias e possibilidades com este modelo. O bonde já está praticamente finalizado. 

Eu terminei as texturas internas e adicionei as placas de propaganda acima da sjanelas, os letreiros de saída e os painéis de emergência. 

Também coloquei as luminárias laterais e as caixas de ventilação no teto. Outra adição foram os suportes amarelos que servem de apoio para os passageiros que porventura viajam de pé. Deve haver um nome próprio para eles, mas eu realmente não sei. 

No Half Life original de 1998, o bonde era içado por um suporte em formato de V invertido. Esse suporte, por sua vez, corria por meio de polias internas em uma única viga, ou seja, em um sistema monotrilho. 

Procurei imagens no Google, mas por incrível que pareça, há pouquíssimas imagens desse bonde na rede. Em uma das poucas imagens que encontrei, parece que essa versão do bonde também podia correr sobre um monotrilho inferior, mas a imagem não é muito nítida e eu não tenho certeza disso. 

Resolvi então usar o sistema que você vê nas imagens deste post, onde o bonde corre também por um monotrilho, mas os suportes parecem usar algum tipo de "engate magnético", como aparece no Half Life Black Mesa. 

Não sei se quatro suportes de cada lado valorizam ou deixam o modelo menos agradável esteticamente. Enquanto brincava com o modelo no Sketchup, as idéias iam e vinham na minha mente e eu fui criando todo o cenário que você vê. 

Eu não quero ficar inventando muito, senão o que vai acontecer é o modelo se tornar inviável para um papercraft, como já aconteceu com muitos outros modelos que acabei abandonando. Bem, por enquanto é isso.

Male Ostrich Miniature Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart

Occupying two sheets of paper, this miniature male Ostrich was created by Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, commissioned by Canon's website. 

This paper model is part of the Real Animals Series, and on the website, it's stated to represent a male Ostrich running, implying that there might be a female version and perhaps a chick version in different poses. 

If you're using this papercraft for a school project, here are some basic information and interesting facts that might be useful: 

The ostrich is the largest bird in the world and is native to Africa.

It's known for its ability to run quickly and for having a varied diet, which includes plants and small animals. 

They can run at speeds of up to 70 km/h, making them the fastest birds on land. 

Ostrich eggs are the largest among all living birds, weighing up to 1.4 kg and having the capacity equivalent to 24 chicken eggs. 

Despite having large and strong wings, ostriches cannot fly. However, their wings are used for balance and communication during mating.

Ocupando duas folhas de papel, este Avestruz Macho em miniatura foi criado pelo designer japonês Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, comissionado pelo site da Canon. 

Este modelo de papel faz parte da Série Animais Reais e no site é dito que ele representa um Avestruz macho correndo, dando a entender que virá uma versão fêmea e talvez uma versão filhote em diferentes poses. 

Se você for usar este papercraft em um trabalho escolar, seguem abaixo algumas informações básicas e algumas curiosidades que podem lhe ser úteis: 

O avestruz é a maior ave do mundo e é nativo da África. 

Ele é conhecido por sua habilidade de correr rapidamente e por ter uma dieta variada, que inclui desde plantas até pequenos animais. 

Eles podem correr a uma velocidade de até 70 km/h, tornando-os os pássaros mais rápidos em terra. 

Os ovos de avestruz são os maiores entre todas as aves vivas, podendo pesar até 1,4 kg e ter capacidade equivalente a 24 ovos de galinha. 

Apesar de suas asas serem grandes e fortes, os avestruzes não conseguem voar. No entanto, suas asas são usadas para equilíbrio e comunicação durante o acasalamento.

Last Stop Before The End Of The World Diorama Papercraft by Papermau - Download Now!

Here is the diorama of the Last Stop Before the End of the World, a papercraft created using textures generated by artificial intelligence, more precisely Bing, or Copilot, from Microsoft. 

I used the following text, or prompt: "blueprint/façade of a 1950s gas station, realistic style" and Bing delivered four images to me. The one I liked the most was the one I used to create this papercraft. 

I saved the image on my HD, opened it in MsPaint and cutting from here, pasting from there and using some more varied textures taken from Google searches, I created the papercraft that you see in the images here and which you can download easily and safely, directly from Google Drive.

If your imagination is very fertile but you don't know how to express your ideas, I recommend that you try artificial intelligence image editors. There are several, and almost all of them have free versions. 

You simply write what you imagine in your mind and within seconds you receive images that sometimes have a lot in common with what you imagined and sometimes are something almost completely different, but with small similarities here and there. 

It is a very interesting experiment for curious minds.

Eis aqui o diorama da Última Parada Antes do Fim do Mundo, um papercraft criado usando texturas geradas por inteligência artificial, mais precisamente o Bing, ou Copilot, da Microsoft. 

Eu usei o seguinte texto, ou prompt: "blueprint/fachada de um posto de gasolina da década de 1950, estilo realista" e o Bing entregou-me quatro imagens. A que mais me agradou foi a que usei para criar este papercraft. 

Salvei a imagem em meu HD, abri no MsPaint e cortando daqui, colando dali e usando mais algumas texturas variadas tiradas de buscas do Google, criei o papercraft que você vê nas imagens deste e que pode baixar fácil e seguramente, direto do Google Drive. 

Se sua imaginação é muito fértil mas você não sabe como expressar suas idéias, eu recomendo que você experimente editores de imagens por inteligência artificial. Há vários, e quase todos têm versões gratuítas. 

Você simplesmente escreve o que você imagina em sua mente e em segundos recebe imagens que às vezes têm muito em comum com o que você imaginou e às vezes é algo quase totalmente diferente, mas com pequenas similaridades aqui e ali. 

É um experimento muito interessante para mentes curiosas.
