Christmas Time - A Little Christmas Scene Diorama - by Tito GloriosoAnd Martin Didier

My Indonesian friend Tito Glorioso built this beautiful little Christmas scene and kindly sent me some photos of his work. 

The models are a creation by French designer and modeler Martin Didier, from My Little House website. 

Tito made a lot of interferences at the models that just make them more rich and flashy. He opened the door to make it seems more dynamic. He added some plants and a tree to make the place more alive. He also placed some battery-operated tealight candles: one inside and another at the rear. 

The effect is amazing, especially when the room lights are turned low. Tito says this is a very good educational tool for acting out Bible stories, perfect for families!

Meu amigo da Indonésia, Tito Glorioso, montou esta bela cena de Natal e gentilmente enviou-me algumas fotos de seu trabalho. 

Os modelos são uma criação do designer e modelista francês Martin Didier, do site My Little House. 

Tito fez um monte de interferências nos modelos os tornaram mais ricos e chamativos. Ele abriu a porta da casinha para fazê-la mais dinâmica. Ele adicionou algumas plantas e uma árvore para tornar o lugar mais vivo. Ele também instalou duas velas de LED à bateria: um dentro e outro na parte traseira. 

O efeito é incrível, especialmente quando as luzes do ambiente estão bem suaves. Tito diz que esta é uma ferramenta educacional muito boa para encenar histórias da Bíblia, perfeitas para as famílias!

Spanish Typical Viviendas Diorama - A Vintage Paper Modelby Fernandes Vigara

Originally published in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century, this small diorama depicting typical houses of this country, the "Viviendas", was created by Fernandes Vigara. Along with the original model, you'll find another link, where I did a "clean" version with more vivid colors, which will save you a lot of ink when printing.

Originalmente inpresso na Espanha no começo do século XX, este pequeno diorama retratando casa típicas do país, as "Viviendas", foi criado por Fernandes Vigara. Juntamente com o modelo original, você encontrará outro link, onde eu fiz uma versão "limpa" e com cores mais vivas, que farão você economizar um bocado de tinta na hora de imprimir.

Christmas Time - The Little Village Advent Calendar Papercraftby Zu Galerie

Download and build all these cute little houses (there are twelve, for the even days of December) and put a little candy or gift under each one, and during the days of December, put one per day hidden around the house and let the kids make a kind of treasure hunt. When Christmas comes, you'll have a beautiful decoration and the kids will be happy. Offered by Zugalerie, a French website. The Ephemeral Museum - Mayan Pyramid Of Kukulkan In Mexicoby Philippe R.

My French friend, Philippe R., currently living in Paraguay, built this beautiful Mayan Pyramid Of Kukulkan and kindly sent me some photos of his nice work. He said: _ "This is a very effective model of the Mayan Pyramid of Kukulkan, in Mexico. Some might find it a bit repetitive to construct, but the result is worth the effort. The details are very good, there is even the altar in the upper chambre. A very good architectural model indeed, even if one is remembered of the continuous human sacrifices that occured there." - "Many thanks, Philippe, for give me the honor to present your work here on the blog! About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. The Ephemeral Museum is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. O Ephemeral Museum é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:
