Galaxy Holy Warrior - Space Battle Cruiser Satania Paper Model
by Sci-Fi Papercraft - Link Revised

Created by Japanese designer and model maker Shunichi Makino, from the website Sci-Fi Papercraft, here is a very well made and detailed paper model of the Space Cruiser Satania from the 1979 book "Galaxy Holy Warrior", by science fiction writer Koji Tanaka.

This spaceship was designed by Naoyuki Kato, one of the world's most respected science fiction painters and Mr. Makino papercrafted the Satania with Mr. Kato's permission.

As the book's illustrations do not show all parts of the spacecraft, Mr. Kato allowed Mr. Makino to create them using his own imagination. The result was incredible, wasn't it?

The entire model occupies ten printed sheets, including the display stand and there are no instructions, but the model is not difficult to assemble and the parts are named by letters followed by numbers, so the assembly follows a logic like this: piece A1 is glued to the piece A2, which in turn is glued to piece A3 and so on.

In "Galaxy Holy Warrior", a science fiction novel by Koji Tanaka, the Space Cruiser Satania is a powerful and iconic warship. It is commanded by the protagonist of the story, Captain Hayato Ichimonji.

The Satania is known for its advanced combat capabilities and highly trained crew, who face numerous galactic threats as they seek to maintain peace in the universe. The ship plays a crucial role in the epic battles described in the book, reflecting Tanaka's vision of future technologies and interstellar conflicts.

"Galaxy Holy Warrior" is highly influenced by Japanese culture and incorporates elements of martial arts, samurai and Eastern philosophies, adding a unique layer to the science fiction narrative.

In addition to space battles and advanced technology, the book explores spiritual and metaphysical themes, addressing questions about the meaning of life, morality and destiny, providing a deeper experience for readers.

Mr. Tanaka is known for his dynamic, visual narrative style, which captivates readers with vivid descriptions of battle scenes, alien creatures, and galactic landscapes, making "Galaxy Holy Warrior" an exciting and engaging read for science fiction fans.

The Ninja, The Cowboy & The Bear Paper Toys - by Ninja Cowboy Bear

The Ninja, the Cowboy and the Bear is a children's book written by David Bruins and illustrated by Hilary Leung that tells a fun story about friendship and overcoming differences.

In the text below you can get a little idea about the book:

"The Ninja, the Cowboy and the Bear do everything together: they paint pictures, compare cloud shapes in the sky, fly kites and much more.

Though each friend is very different from one another, they enjoy each other's company. Until one day when they begin quarreling and compete to see which one is the best.

The bear can pile up rocks the highest. The cowboy can collect the most raspberries. The ninja can catch the most rabbits. When each contest leads to more resentment, it seems the friends will never stop disagreeing.

Only when they learn to be considerate of their differences do they finally realize how much they appreciate each other."

About the authors, David Bruins spends most of his days as a computer programmer.

However, he'd much rather spend his time riding his bicycle, playing guitar, or coming up with stories and telling them to anyone who will listen, while Hilary Leung is a Toronto-based author and illustrator.

When he isn't working on new picture book ideas, he can be found playing or reading with his two awesome children.

One Thousand and One Nights - The Fable Of The Rooster, The Dog And The Farmer's Wife - An Spanish Vintage Diorama Papercraft
Preserved And Shared by Agence Eureka

This vintage papercraft, depicting a scene from the fable of the rooster, the dog, and the farmer's wife from One Thousand and One Nights, has been preserved and is now kindly shared by the Agence Eureka website. It was originally printed by the now-defunct Spanish publisher Editorial Hernando.

Based in Madrid and founded by Don Victoriano Hernando in 1828, the first cutouts were only published in the early 20th century, all bearing a beautiful logo with the effigies of Cervantes and Gutenberg.

It is regrettable that most of their cutout production and other documentation was lost in a fire at their offices and warehouses on Quintana Street in November 1936, as a result of bombing during the Spanish Civil War. I extend my gratitude to Sala Lúdica website for providing this information.

The fable of the rooster, the dog and the farmer's wife in One Thousand and One Nights is a story in which the rooster, the dog, and the farmer's wife have a conflict. The rooster defends the dog when the woman attacks him, and in retaliation, the woman kills the rooster. The dog then seeks help from a judge who decides that the woman must pay a fine to the farmer for the rooster.

The story highlights justice and the importance of resolving conflicts properly. The story of the rooster, the dog, and the farmer's wife from One Thousand and One Nights is a fable that exists in various versions and variations over time and in different cultures.

The stories in One Thousand and One Nights are often transmitted orally and written in different ways in various editions of the book. Furthermore, the fable has versions in other collections of folk tales.

Therefore, it is possible to find variations in the story in different versions of One Thousand and One Nights and in other folk sources. Each version may emphasize slightly different aspects of the story, but the basic structure of the conflict between the rooster, the dog, and the farmer's wife generally remains consistent.

"One Thousand and One Nights," also known as "The Arabian Nights" or "Nights of Scheherazade," is a collection of tales and stories originating from the Middle East. The work is a framed narrative that presents the story of Princess Scheherazade, who avoids death by narrating a story every night to the king, who had the habit of killing his wives after their wedding night.

These stories told by Scheherazade are diverse, including fairy tales, fables, legends, moral stories, and adventures. The book features a vast collection of tales that vary in genre, style, and cultural origin, including popular stories from Arabian, Persian, Indian, and other traditions.

"One Thousand and One Nights" is famous for its iconic stories such as "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp," "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves," and "Sinbad the Sailor." These stories are woven together with a central narrative revolving around Scheherazade and her ability to keep the king captivated with her narratives, which allows her to survive.

The work has been translated into many languages and is appreciated worldwide for its richness of narratives and enduring influence on literature and culture.
