The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), and colloquially described as The Bird's Egg, is an opera house in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The Centre, an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass surrounded by an artificial lake, seats 5,452 people in three halls and is almost 12,000 m² in size. It was designed by French architect Paul Andreu. Construction started in December 2001 and the inaugural concert was held in December 2007. - Wikipedia

Centro Nacional para a Artes Cênicas (NCPA)- às vezes descrito como "O Ovo", está localizado no distrito de Xicheng, Beijing, na República Popular da China. O Centro é muito bem construído com uma cúpula elipsóide de titânio e vidro, cercado por um lago . Tem capacidade para 5.452 pessoas em três salas e quase 12 mil metros de tamanho. Suas obras começaram em 2001 e ele foi inaugurado oficialmente em 2007.
